He is a good fighter, but he often is disinterested and will go 3-4 games without throwing a body check.
So if they limit him to 20 games he'll be interested in every game.

Imagine if you could be an NHLer and only play every two weeks. You'd be stoked to get away from the kids!

He could barely score .5 PPG in the English league and somehow parlayed that into a 1 way NHL contract. Mediocre ECHL players put up better numbers in that league. Just brutal.

He will be liked in the locker room. Good, though reluctant, fighter. Flashes top 6 skill on occasion. Surprisingly soft and creative hands. For a big strong guy he is poor along the boards, and at grinding in general.

A good choice for SO's believe it or not.

Agree that he should be considered a 14th forward. Use him when you expect a "heavy" game.
