At least people remember now that it wasn't just Hextall who liked vets -- it's a perennial issue.

On my keister
I thought this was done a while ago. Did they just never release him from his PTO? At any rate, he's been on my Flyers' roster for some time now.

Can be important role player for the Flyers. He might be old school type of player and he might not be as good as he used to be, now at 32
but he can still skate, really well, and he is physical. A player who can skate well is always in the need today's NHL.

I don't think Flyers signed him to score goals, he was signed for you to skate like a mad man in every shift, hit everything, secure leads,
getting penalties for opposition players and if you get super lucky, some bottom 6 additional scoring.

Not happy about this signing, we have guys that want to step up and fill a role any way that they can. We don't need this guy.
