10 points his last 10 games for Frosty.

also...Bellows had 2 goals...now has 20. Rubstov has 2 goals on the season.

now we wait for Cap.
Seems like he's feeling pretty confident. Let's see how he transitions with third line minutes in the nhl

ATO? If Myers is hurt we might need him with the big club. Can't risk putting Ghost in there to ruin the streak.

Great Post is generally used sarcastically around these parts...but this post actually is great

Cole Caufield finishes with 19 goals. Russ Cohen predicted 40 before the season. Just missed.

I made a mistake of listening to a podcast he was on before the season. Guy was whining about how the Flyers didn’t market Hart & the young players enough going into the season. As if that was going to bring back fans after the run they had leading up to it.

As we’re seeing now winning is the only thing that can make people care about the Flyers & mostly every other sports team.

He wasn’t short of other dumb takes on it but that was something that I remember most.

So is Wylie getting signed? Seems like other overagers have been (including two his teammates) signing within the last week.

I’d imagine the Flyers will be fairly selective with their NCAA prospects regarding ELC’s since they’re only down to a few contract spots left until 7/1.

ATO’s would be my best guess for most of their prospects (who they want to sign) this spring.

Yeah that’s essentially what I meant. An ELC that kicks in for next year.

Kalynuk will fight for a spot on the team next season or will for sure be in the AHL?
I think he has a chance as the 3rd LD. He's at the age that you won't worry about rushing him. But that would be dependent on the team moving on from Ghost and Hagg. Ghost seems inevitable but Hagg has 9 lives. Friedman should at least be in the group of 7.

I thought Zamula had a real shot but missing the second half of this season put a dent that. York would also seem like a longshot if signed.

tl;dr It'll be Hagg.

I’m worried he might need to get the stank of Wisconsin washed off. Then again that would lead to needing the Gordon stank washed off of him. So f*** it we will see.

Frost 39g 11-8 19 at ES, which is solid, but not special.
He's got 10 PP points, but hey, Carey is 6-6 12 on the PP. Not sure you can read much into AHL PP scoring.

Giroux 33g 10-9 19 ES in his AHL stint when he was 20 (turned 21 when called up that year).

We know Frost can score, it's the other aspects of his game that have to pick up to be able to play serious playoff minutes.

Kalynuk would be a long-shot to make the Flyers next year, he's not an unstoppable offense force.
I don't see this huge gap between Kalynuk at 22 and Friedman at 22. Friedman was halfway through his 2nd AHL season when he turned 23.

So your saying he's the best older defenseman who wasn't good enough to jump to the NHL before he turned 23?
