Yeah most of those fans care about the career minor leaguers way more than most of us on this board do. They care more about wins & losses as where we just want guys to be developed for the Flyers. They see it as an actual team as where we just see it as a team there to cater the Flyers needs.

Also, the Phantoms dropped out of a playoff spot with that loss.

Yeah I read that Sekera's stint was extended. I am sure with Morins injuries, we can easy build that same case.

I think this is somewhat accurate. I don't follow minor league hockey much, but I do follow minor league baseball, and when I lived in the Harrisburg area and attended about 20 Harrisburg Senators games per year from 2002-2007, I cared about the team's success more than the prospects' success, but I was also interested in seeing how the potential future major leaguers would do (and in that time, there weren't many in the Expos'/Nationals' farm system due to circumstances associated with the ownership of the major league team). I actually didn't care that much about the multi-year Harrisburg players, though I did care about them more than the non-prospects who played more briefly in Harrisburg. In contrast, with the Reading Phillies (who I typically saw in Reading 3-4 times per year in addition to a handful of times in Harrisburg during the same 2002-2007 period) I cared more about how the prospects were doing than the team's success. To illustrate the point, when Harrisburg and Reading played during that time period, I rooted (hard) for Harrisburg to win the game and the Phillies' prospects to perform well in the game. To use an example, seeing the Senators win while Ryan Howard had a big game for the R-Phils, which may have happened once or twice in 2004, was a win-win to me.

Anyone that suggests we sign a 3rd line center in the offseason deserves to be banned from this forum.

So, you’re saying MoFro will be better than Barzal and Giroux? I can dig it.

So he's a Center.

That'll give us Couts/Patrick/Frost/Free Agent

Do we try to get a reliable 3C and push Frost to 4C?

Why would you push Frost to 4C, if he's this good, play him.
Fletcher might look at a veteran 4C who can skate and PK, otherwise just go with what they got.
Rubtsov should be ready at some point next season, and Vorobyev/Bunnaman/Laberge should also be in the AHL and available for action.
You could start the season with Bailey - Laughton - NAK on the 4th line, we've done worse.
