I mean, look. We're now down two of our top three defensemen and both goalies, and we just won a legendary NHL hockey game with a Zamboni driver in net.
It's the perfect combination of "no pressure now" and "no one believes in us" and "this team is weird magic".
Either we get exposed and go on a long losing streak because we can no longer keep the puck out of the net, or Ned wins us eight straight and Dougie plus Mrazek come back for a magic playoff run.

Thank you. He and Forsberg have pretty comparable numbers. Hard to tell.
As a Flyers fan I don't want to have to see them play you bunch of jerks. There is no quit in your team.

Fantasy fans, pick up whatever Canes goalie comes up and start him. You are going to see the return of elite shot suppression Canes for the rest of the season, I suspect.

here's a thought. See what type of shape Cam Ward is in. Send him to Charlotte for a few games and if it appears he can go bring him back up. We know what Cam can do in the playoffs. We just have to get him there.

Funny—because from about 10 pm Friday until puck drop yesterday the consensus on this board was that the team lacked effort and the captain allowed them to quit on a regular basis. Amazing what a "win one for the Zamboni driver" mentality will accomplish.

Sports are so much about emotion and confidence and belief. There's plenty of talent out there. Even with the guys they're missing, if they believe, they can go a long way yet.
