That's more than I paid for a Brad Park game-worn Boston Bruins jersey from 1982... :eek:

Just goes to show you that a jersey is worth whatever a collector is willing to pay.

Crosby's are going much, much higher than that.

And again- it is all about what a collector is willing to pay. It amazes me though, that I got Ray Bourque's 1990 Bruins Stanley Cup finals jersey for just a tad more than what someone paid for a Peter Mueller one-time game-worn. Yes, it was for charity- and that's superb- but I can't imagine paying over 4k for a prospect jersey before that player has set skates on an NHL ice surface...
