I'm curious what are some of the things you percieve that support that the league attacking the skill game.

league wide scoring is down, and people are noticing more obstruction not getting called.

if we're judging the trade though, does it really look better on the guy making it if we luck out with it? The Pitt 1st could win the draft lottery after all if they miss the playofs. MacT is a genuis!!

If the Pens miss the playoffs, yes it looks good on MacT. If it happens he traded a guy who wasn't fitting in here and got something of pretty decent value.

Winning the lottery is pretty lucky. In that case he at least deserves credit for giving the team another chance to win the lottery.
