I personally think this is a good change. Once you all get used to it I think you'll agree.
First off, it seems to be a much easier company to support and like than a soulless giant like Pepsi. This is an actual local Colorado company with deep roots and history in the state.
Second, if you want to still call it The Can, go right ahead since the new sponsor literally makes cans.
Third, the possibilities for humor are nearly limitless, and hockey is supposed to be fun.
On a side note, I think The Can nickname should actually die and the new nickname should be the Ball Pit.
