    Came across this last night. Worth a watch if you have never seen it. I think the NHL is better without staged fighting but I miss the days of the 80s.

    Make sure you watch Roberts fight at the end.

    Hence why it's hard to judge "certain players" as best ever when looking only at point totals from different eras.

    Speaking only of skating, early on you get a glimpse of Paul Coffey skating, and Mike Gartner probably was also in the game, so not everyone in that era skated like Callandar and Robby Brown.

    I tend to stay away from those discussions because yes point totals can be deceptive, but more importantly, you can never convince the other person how patently wrong they are. I loved watching Mario, Gretzky, and others, but I also loved watching Sid, McDavid, Geno, Mackinnon, etc and even Ovie when he’s not running someone. Life’s too short to argue extensively about who was “better”.
