I like Kahun. I don't like the fit with Geno-Rust (more than McCann though, for sure). As @vodeni noted, the roles are muddled with the Kahun-Geno-Rust trio. Not Kahun's fault, mind you, just how they work together . . . and I suspect that's why it's so hit or miss.

We also disagree on whether players can adapt and get better playing together

Yes, I'm a believer that you either show instant or relatively instant chemistry or you don't, and that tells you how much potential a line has.

For my part, I've never seen a Geno line 'develop' chemistry. All of the enduring ones have shown pretty instant chemistry/potential.

Explain to me why we prep for a playoff run with a guy who's scored 2 goals in his last 34 playoff games? Why not just get a better forward?
