I like Kahun. I don't like the fit with Geno-Rust (more than McCann though, for sure). As @vodeni noted, the roles are muddled with the Kahun-Geno-Rust trio. Not Kahun's fault, mind you, just how they work together . . . and I suspect that's why it's so hit or miss.
We also disagree on whether players can adapt and get better playing together :laugh:

Yes, I'm a believer that you either show instant or relatively instant chemistry or you don't, and that tells you how much potential a line has.

For my part, I've never seen a Geno line 'develop' chemistry. All of the enduring ones have shown pretty instant chemistry/potential.

I added the comment that Geno lines either show chemistry right away or they don't, and it's the former that are the only ones who have had staying power.

in third...Leafs attempted 17 shots 11 on goal...Pens attempted 16 had 3 on goal.....also 1:9 in HDCF that was not a good night

Kahun's tailor-made for the RW with Sid and Jake, imo. We'll never see it, because apparently Simon's spot is written in stone and Kahun can't stay healthy long enough to force the coach's hand into trying the combo, but I think it'd be damn good.
