What a difference that transfer made for his development. Not saying he wouldn’t have eventually broken out with the Gophers but obviously things worked out beautifully for him at DU. Would’ve loved to see him come back for one last year as *the* centerpiece of the Pios attack but clearly the Pens wanted him in the fold prior to a potential senior season.
