My guess is that Cullen will likely be the 4th line LW to start the season, with Cullen-Sheahan-ZAR as the 4th line. It helps the PK too because Cullen is a proven PKer.

But the problem is that he's just old as ****. Just why?

Giant Cullen fan but I like it. He still had it for Minnesota once he adjusted. He fills a lot of needs and is a safe bet to play our system.

Never a safe bet that he'll still have it the next season at his age but if he does, people will be happy about this in 6 months.

Love him as a person, but not in love with the move this season. Hopefully he's given plenty rest in the middle of the season.

League minimum makes this fine. Replaced easily if he sucks. He’ll be 42 during the season...crazy

Depth C who can play wing on the 4th line and take centre PK duties.

Good move

Assuming the money is around $1M I think this is a great signing. The Penguins were very thin on proven PK guys that could be trusted to take faceoffs. This is Rowney's replacement and if you don't think this is an improvement I don't know what else you want.
