Do you EVER stop whining about how " everybody hates the Lakers " ??? :blah::blah::blah:

i'd be pretty pissed off too if i were you. ainge toyed around with demps and got him to wait until the summer only for demps to get fired. so now boston has to start all over with a new GM. great news for the lakers

unfortunately it looks like the media is going to keep pushing the boston stuff anyways. so basically keep him away from the lakers according to woj

and its not that everyone hates the lakers. its the attitude of the rest of the league when something involves the lakers vs when other teams are involved. there's really no denying that

Heard about this move, given everything with Davis right now that job might not be the most lucrative out there.

Of course the first two names to emerge are LeBron's former GM who he has a great relationship with and Danny Ainge's right hand man. That's exactly what the Davis saga needs.

Not far off from Chiarelli. Gifted a top 5 talent (although McDavid is obviously better at his sport than Davis is at ball) and proceeds to make awful trades, give out horrible contracts and make it past the first round once (Pels made the playoffs 3x, Oilers 1x albeit in a shorter time span).

He should have been fired long ago, such as when he

- Gave Omer Asik 60 million LOOOOOOOOL
- Failed to draft anyone good. Literally none of his post-Davis picks turned out to be pretty good, aside from Hield

This all on ownership. Tom Bensons, and now his widow never gave a crap about the team (hence why they made Mickey Loomis - lifelong NFL exec/football guy - the team president, as if running an NFL team isn't a full time job), he only bought the team to give back to the people of the city by preventing them from relocating and its 150% obvious Demps is only getting fired because of the Davis debacle. If the trade request was never made, he'd still have a job. or if he took the Lakers offer and put aside his ego.

obviously demps had a role in all this but something tells demps would have taken the LA deal but benson/loomis overruled him. probably because the saints lost to the rams

Hes not wrong.... literally every team has something against them. Magic Johnson and Daryl Morey could make the same comment about a player and guess who's getting fined/sanctioned? The 6'9 PG. Prime example - Ben Simmons/his people reached out to Johnson about mentoring him, teaching him how he played as an oversized point guard, and the league went and investigated him/gave a warning.

RE the CP3 deal. lol. NO would have received a starting PG in Dragic (25 years old at the time), starting SG in K-Mart (averaged 23 PPG the season before), a solid starting PF in Scola and the reigning 6th man of the year plus a 1st.

Instead they got a pile of hot Clipper garbage.

Heard about this move, given everything with Davis right now that job might not be the most lucrative out there.

Ehh not exactly. You Get a. fresh start/clean slate, and provided they don't hire a complete moron, solid haul of picks/young players to build around. Could also tank for a year or two.

Wouldn't shock me. Both are clueless, hell Benson only owns the team because her husband died and she beat his kids in court. Saints make too much money her her to care about a measly NBA team.

Loomis is a great football GM but is in over his head "running" an NBA team.
