How fast do you think the guys coming from Europe benefit from the drug usage in NA? Im fairly certain they are not used, atleast not to the same extend, in European leagues.

Many European countries have much laxer laws when it comes to PEDs. Almost all of them have much laxer laws and punishments when it comes to possession and distribution of banned substances.

For example, steroids possession in the UK is not a crime, as it's only a class 3 drug (it's illegal to distribute in the UK). And very few countries punish drug dealers the way the USA does.

SARMs use is actually fairly widespread. They can be quite effective and safe, if you have a trusted source. A lot of them have advantages, especially with side effects, as they often target certain receptors more specifically. Unless you are getting prescription grade PEDs from a doctor, SARMs can actually be safer, if you have the right sources and references.

There's a notion that all athletes are superstars and have these amazing connections. However, a lot of them, especially entry level and fringe players, are pretty broke. You can pay $10+k/month for some crazy clinic. However, only athletes who've already made it somewhat can afford that.

No way. Have you done your research on sarms? S4 - can lead to loss of vision. PCTs can too. Cardarine is linked to cancer. Rad - Bald. LGD - gyno. Ostarine - mild sides. All those need PCTs too. Not to mention with the China ban. Your reliable source could be trying to get rid of something else and give you something you didn't want. It's not regulated and definitely not safe. MK might be the safest and not even a sarm if you want to mess with your ghrelin. The NHL clearly doesn't care so they use the real deal stuff with way less sides.

Lots of loopholes in the NHL’s policy.

The fact they don’t store samples to retroactively test them when better tests become available is a major one.

The idea that NHLers are clean because they are mostly good guys is just silly.

The entire Russian Olympic Federation was banned for drug violations yet we are to believe that not one hockey player took anything?

It's enough to catch it if it was anywhere close to as rampant as people claim.

The NHL doesn't. It was an international ban.

When Jeter and MLB had their last steroid scandal non of them were getting caught the paper work from the guy that gave them drugs was found.
Many Ramirez gave himself the wrong injection by mistake and would have not failed his test if not for user error, In 2009 a guy that was bragging about selling to the players in Washington, in 2010 the guy he was suppling was busted for selling steroids, this guy was also a chiropractor for a couple of the caps players..
They push everything to the max accepted level so they don’t fail tests, when guys are a fast and strong in there mid to late 30’s it’s not hard to figure out.

Blood doping would be a huge advantage in a hockey shift. The shifts are 30-45 seconds of intense activity. If you can dope your blood to carry more oxygen and increase your short term oxygen supply, that's a massive advantage.

There's already a notable case in hockey:

Alexei Cherepanov - Wikipedia

Having more oxygen carrying ability in your blood is great for both anaerobic and aerobic sports.

I stand corrected. Thanks.

This thread is about PEDs. It’s still a PED if it isn’t banned. Steroids weren’t banned in baseball for a long time, they were still PEDs. The fact NHL doesn’t ban many of them tells you they will ignore it.
