Joe quite easily. Him and Jagr lapped the competition (125 and 123p respectively, and Ovi was 3rd with 106p). Average goals were similar in 05/06 to now. Joe also played 2:05 a game of PK, and was dominant on both sides of the ice.

Yep. 114 points the following year. I still feel like that Sharks team would have gone all the way that year if they didnt come up against that possessed Oilers team. That Oilers run was special even though we didn't win. Beat a Detroit team that would go on to two SC finals. Pronger was absolutely possessed...

Thornton was not a dominant defensive player then.
