Nothing to see here. It's a paper work transaction that happens on every trade deadline day and makes people think it's a much bigger deal than it is. I remember when we did it with Seguin this board lost their **** and thought something crazy was about to go down.

Usually the way this annual move gets reported is that somebody notices a player missing from the NHL posted roster, and goes ballistic that said player is demoted instead of Caron. Nice to see this slight measure of sanity applying to the board this year.
