My friend and I started up the booing for him before his name was even announced. At least on our side of the building.

We hate him more than Bettman. He also hates us. Bettman obviously couldn’t make it, so they sent him as the goodwill ambassador.

All they had to do was add a few tables throughout the concourses selling just Elias stuff. I don't enjoy complaining but they make everything so much more difficult then it should be.

I mean yeah maybe downstairs but that would have been a nightmare at the end of the ceremony when the entire building was walking around the concourse going to the john and getting food and more souvenirs in the stores they did have. I was going from upstairs to downstairs to visit a friend and it took me and my friend like literally 15 minutes to make a 3-5 minute trip. It felt like the old Continental Arena or dare I say Nassau with how packed the upper concourse was.

Looking back over Elias's last goal it's definitely ironic Palm got the two goals last night since he had the assist on Patty's final goal in 2016.

They really need to go back to wearing white at home imho. I don’t know if it’s because that’s how I remember it growing up but it’s been 14 years with the reds for home games and I still prefer them wearing white. It just looks better I think.

Furthermore because Palmieri grew up watching Patty and the youth team he played on practiced at South Mountain so as he mentioned, they used to see those Devil players frequently over there.

I just think it’s a much cleaner look in general. I know the Devils primary color is red lol. No reason for every home game to look like we’re constantly playing the same team all the time.
