Patrik Berglund Appreciation Thread

What I liked about Bergie on-ice is his ability to win a huge game by scoring out of nothing and coming off a 20 game cold streak.
Shame it usually happened once in a while though.

He was the longest current tenured Blue until today. 10 seasons in the note. Hope we give him a tribute when the Sabres are in town.

Would be stunned if we don't. I just hope the people who have had a hate on for him for so long don't ruin the much deserved warm greeting he should get.

Even last season, I thought the Berglund hate was a little overblown. He was thrown onto a beat up roster after coming back from an injury and started slow, but still finished on pace for 20 goals.

Honestly, I'll miss Brodziak more than Berglund. Yeah, he was a good guy, longest tenured Blue, etc but he was invisible on the ice way to often for my liking. I wish him nothing but the best of luck in Buffalo.

I liked him as 3rd line winger. As center his lack of vision choked our offense. But since his contract was unbecoming of a 3rd line winger, he had to go. Sorry to see it but necessary and super excited with trade obviously. Hopefully he gets nice ovation on his return.
