What is this supposed to mean?:huh:

Without the puck, Brett Hull was as useless as Jordan Eberle.
Not trying to say he wasn't one of the best goal scores with one of the most exciting to watch slap shots of all time, though.
And not suggesting that anyone should mistake Eberle for Hull.

And what exactly does Kane do without the puck?

He skates very quickly to get into position to receive the puck (Hull couldn't do that very well) and he occasionally takes the puck away from the opposition. (Hull didn't care to learn how to do that till he started playing in Detroit under Bowman.)

Ummm... Hull's entire claim to fame was how he could always find space to get his shot off. That happened because of his play away from the puck... Did you see Hull in Dallas under hitch? Neither of these guys played a 2 way game but Hull was better than Kane at playing D.

LOL Funny. Was he pretending to be Luke Robitaille? Because he did it better despite probably being one of the worst skaters in the league.

And yes, Hull scored more, but Luke had very little to work with when Wayne wasn't in town.

You don’t need to be a good skater to know how to put yourself in position to make plays

As an entertaining human-being, nobody beats Brett Hull.

There was a time during the Mike Keenan-era in St. Louis where Brett Hull was told by Keenan to serve the 2-minute bench minor. Hull, ever the moody super-star, was none to pleased having initially told Keenan, "I don't kill penalties". After being ordered to the sin-bin anyway, the Blues managed to kill the entire 2-minute penalty, and as it happens just as the penalty expires, the Blues defenseman clears the puck up the ice to the vacated penalty-box just as Hull stepped out...essentially springing Hull for a would-be break-away. Instead, Hull steps over the puck and lets the puck go the length of the ice for an icing call, and as he gets to the bench he stoically says to Keenan, "I told you...I don't kill penalties".
