I mean sure Benning looked bad on that play but Pasta has done that to a lot of dee. Not like he is new to this fancy stuff. Also McDavid cheated on the play going for the break out before it was there and got caught gambling. He left the middle of the ice open for Pasta to exploit. Everyone stopped skating thinking he was going shoot.

This Bure goal is kinda similar, after watching some of his videos they remind me of Pasta a bit. Bure has a legacy, so Pasta has a ways to go.

Pastrnak has to be one of, if not the most underrated young star in the league. All this talk of Matthews/Eichel/Barzal/Laine/Barkov etc yet the only one of these players to have scored over 30 goals and 80pts is Pastrnak, and hes only 22.

Just as deadly as a goal scorer as he is a playmaker.

Sorry, I just disagree. This type of goal happens a couple times a month. It's an awesome goal but in my opinion it's not close to being a goal of the year candidate.

I had drai a bit above pasta in years past. But its clear hes the better of the two. He drives play better and is a better all round player despite Drai being a center half the time. Been really impressed with Pasta.

In Boston, we don't pronounce our 'R's, so "Pass-ter-nak" is "Pasta-nak".
