IN CASE you were wondering, the record for most 3+ goals in a season belongs to Gretzky, who had 10 hat tricks (or more) 10 times in two separate seasons.

Let that sink in.

Another crazy thing is that 4 hattricks in a season gets one tied for 33rd overall in league's history. And 5 would mean tied for 14th overall. Wowza.
