Speculation: Parayko to Edmonton

Stauffer's been talking about Barrie pretty incessantly for over 2 years now. Barrie still isn't an Oiler. Point being, Stauffer talking about someone doesn't indicate much in of itself at all. Maybe the Oilers are after Parayko, but this doesn't really indicate that.

So a deal couldn't be consummated, doesn't mean there were not serious discussions.

Parayko has #1D potential and is rhd. He's worth a ton. Draisaitl is probably the closest 1 for 1. You won't get him for RNH+++ as most like to think.

I think any credibility a poster might have here gets instantly flushed away the second he says “fake news”.

Anyway, back on planet Earth, we all remember when Stauffer said on the radio “Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson” the day before it actually happened.

So this could be nothing, it could be something. That said, I certainly don’t think the Oilers would entertain giving up Draisaitl for Parayko.
