Reimer wasnt terrible. Stop the presses.

He was completely fine. After allowing 4 goals on 18 shots last night, we allowed 1 goal on 10 shots and it was an own goal on a horrible play by Trocheck and then Matheson. It's really incredible that you get credible goaltending for the first time in like six games and then everyone else just decides to go full Pejorative Slur.

Trocheck inexplicably throws it right to an islander in front of Reimer then Matheson inexplicably pushes the loose puck back towards the front of the net off Trochecks skate and in....haha you honestly can’t make this stuff up. Both of them could have thrown the puck literally anywhere else and we’d still be tied.

We really don't need a another goalie but decent structure and effort on defensive tasks involving every player.

I thought I saw Reimer could've ended that play, but he weakly kicked it right out in front (onto the islander stick) when he could've simply frozen it. I'll have to see the replay
