So goals on low danger chances should equal poor goaltending? How do we look there?
Well, every goalie gives up goals on all sorts of chances; it's more like there are different "acceptable save%" for different chances.
It changes slightly from year to year; at HD, something like 84% is good; for MD, you want 93%, at LD, you should expect ca 98%.
Long story short, Driedger's looking excellent on all three (top10 or better; actually best NHL goalie on LD SVS% over the past two seasons). Bob was decent in HD SVS% last year ("makes the high reel saves), terrible on the other two; this year he's one of the worst goalies in all three stats.
(It's also noteworthy and concerning that Bob's numbers have been in steady decline since at least 2016/17 - didn't look further in the past).
