When Ryan is back :

Smith-Brassard-Stone
Hoffman-Turris-Ryan
Dzingel-Pageau-Stalberg
Wingels-Pyatt-Burrows
Kelly/Neil

Methot-Karlsson
Phaneuf-Ceci
Claesson-Wideman
Borowiecki/Jokipakka

Anderson
Condon

Look at the speed of that 3rd line

Until Ryan is back, play Burrows on that line. He did score 193 goals in the NHL so he knows how to do it.

The speed in our bottom 6 is insane, that fits boucher's system to a tee

What's your argument against?

Even if Ryan has had a tough season, only Hoffman, Stone, Turris and Dzingel have more Points/60 among forwards, so he is 5th.

He is 4th in Pts/GP among forwards since the year where he joined the team in 2013-14 (behind Stone, Turris, Hoffman) and 3rd (behind Stone and Hoffman) in Points/60. I think it would be wise to count on him to provide offense...

Yeah.

I also like the fact that Lazar, Neil and Kelly won't play (much) anymore. Let's see what can Boucher do now that he can roll 4 lines.

I think GB will spread the scoring around & create three scoring lines when Ryan returns. I also like the second option of going with two scoring lines & two very good defensive lines. In fact, they could go with option one to start the game to try & score quickly & option two is for when they are ahead in the game & want to prevent goals against.

Option 1:
Hoffman - Turris - Burrows
Smith - Brassard - Stone
Dzingel - Pageau - Ryan
Stalberg - Wingels - Pyatt
Kelly/Neil

Option 2:
Hoffman - Turris - Ryan - hopefully all three will return to scoring
Dzingel - Brassard - Stone - Dzingel will have to finish to stay with Stone
Burrows - Smith - Wingels - would be an annoying line to play against
Stalberg - Pageau - Pyatt - pretty fast 4th line & good PKers
Kelly/Neil - Neil replaces Pyatt if they need more toughness in the lineup.

Stalberg ahead of Burrows???

I'd rather see them swapped,

Hoffman-Turris-Ryan
Smith-Brassard-Stone
Dzingel-Pageau-Burrows
Stalberg-Pyatt-Wingels

Pageau and Burrows on the same line would be all kinds of agitation. Should be fun to watch. I think Neil would still fit in with those two as well.

Man, I wish we acquired Burrows before playing all our games against Buffalo, could have used him against Lehner.

Touche.

If you have listened to Boucher you can tell he isnt going to sit Kelly. Honestly Kelly has been better than Wingles anyways a 4th line of Stalberg Kelly Pyatt is fast enough that they will be able to forcheck. They are also smart players so they will likely get zone time and cycle the puck well.

Man I think I love this lineup the most. Burrows could be absolutely perfect for Turris, not in skill level but in style of play and agitation.

Though... I really really really wanna see:

Smith-Pageau-Burrows out there at once, dear God it'll drive teams nuts or:
Hoffman-Pageau-Burrows

Hoffman-Brassard-Stone
Dzingel-Turris-Ryan
Smith-Pageau-Burrows
Pyatt-White-Stalberg

or

Smith-Brassard-Stone
Dzingel-Turris-Ryan
Hoffman-Pageau-Burrows
Pyatt-White-Stalberg

Yeah more like this.
Might even swap Ryan and burrows depending on how Ryan is playing. And maybe put Kelly in.

Hoffman-Turris-Burrows
Smith-Brassard-Stone
Dzingel-Pageau-Ryan
Stalberg-Kelly-Pyatt

I like Hoff-Brassard-Stone together, think they are a really strong line. Likewise, the grit & net presence of Burrows might help Dzingle & Turris. Leaves an elite third line imo.
Hoffman-Brassard-Stone
Dzingle-Turris-Burrows
Smith-Pageau-Ryan
Stalberg-Kelly-Pyatt

All of those lines have speed, all of those lines have some edge and I think each of those lines has an offensive punch.

Put Stalberg on the second line and butch Ryan down to third.

He could use some easier matchups.

i know thats what was said in january, just seems weird that he is skating regularly instead of once in a while and taking it easy.

Hockey's been his life for a long time. It makes sense that he'd want to stay close to it while he still can. Reading any more into that is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

fair enough, not expecting anything just wanted to point out that when he was shut down he wasnt doing any skating whatsoever and recently started skating regularly

That would be something if all of a sudden Mac was cleared. Talking 'bout a hell of a lineup at that point. I realize it won't happen...dare to dream...

We really don't know what MacArthur is capable of on the ice at this point. IF he were to come back, I don't think he would be able to catch up to playoff speeds. See ya next year Gris.
