To Chicago:
Artemi Panarin

To Columbus:
Jeff Skinner
Chicago 1st Round Pick
Carolina 3rd Round Pick
Dylan Sikura

To Carolina:
Artem Anisimov
Sonny Milano

May need to be a little more discussion on smaller pieces, but each individual deal would look like this:

Chicago - Panarin for Anisimov, 1st Round Pick, Dylan Sikura
Columbus - Jeff Skinner, 1st Round pick, 3rd Round Pick, Dylan Sikura for Panarin, Milano
Carolina - Anisimov, Milano for Jeff Skinner, 3rd Round Pick

Columbus gets their impact roster player in Jeff Skinner in the deal for Panarin, but has to settle for futures as the sweetener. This would get Carolina a center in return for Skinner and bring Panarin to a franchise he seemed to enjoy and would have confidence they can extend him.

Anisimov and Milano are not of any interest for Carolina.

Cut out Chicago entirely.

Panarin for Skinner + top-end future (1st, Bean, Fleury, Gauthier) + B assets

The problem is Panarin won't stay in Carolina, so it's just one year of him. Not sure Carolina will do it. And Anisimov plus Milano is actually a solid return for Skinner.

Skinner only has 1 year left. It would be a deal where the Canes uprade an immediate situation (Skinner to Panarin) for futures. That is a luxury afforded by having a top-3 prospect pool combined with the desperation of missing the Playoffs for 9 straight years. Panarin-Svechnikov could be a deadly duo.

Anisimov is a Cap dump for Chicago. Milano has effort issues which is a no-go for Rod Brind’Amour. Canes have a ton of roster depth and a ton of 19-23 year old talent. They need elite players.

20 goal/season cup dump, actually. And you won't count how many goals were scored because of his screens...

We’ve had our run at accepting everyone’s garbage for little given up. That is over. On top of that, I do enjoy seeing all these wonderful trade offers where we give up talent for garbage depth.

Carolina isn’t in that position. I would easily take Panarin though.

Skinner is pretty inconsistent player. You won't get a lot for 1 year of him. But as you wish...

Carolina could use a center, but doesn't necessarily need one. Staal and some combination of Aho, Necas and Rask is a high potential group. Even if it doesn't work out in the short-term, there's long-term benefit in giving the Aho and/or Necas the opportunity.

Not that it will come via a Skinner trade, but if there's a clear upgrade available, that changes things. Anisimov isn't that, however. He's redundant for Carolina; the younger Rask can provide similar production, if needed. Really not a fan of him coming back the other way in a Skinner or Faulk trade.
