Carkner has lost once to Thornton.

He has 1 win, 1 loss and 2 draws agianst him.

Carkner is top 3 in the league right now. He has put Boogaard and Godard on the LTIR. He is clearly a better fighter than Thornton, who is no slouche himself btw and one of my favourites..

Paille Carkner was a draw, as only an obvious Bruins homer would give the win to Paille for throwing punches only once the linesmen were restraining Carkner.

I say eye for an eye. How do you think Karlsson would do against Thornton?

Better than whatever Bruin Carkner goes after afterwords.

Carkner will lose for sure

Not a chance, and I'm a Chara fan. Carkner has put Boogaard and Godard on the shelf. Chara isn't a heavyweight. Yes, he hammered Koci (a meh heavyweight, not overly impressive), but he isn't a heavyweight, and he shouldn't be seeing as how he's one of the best defensemen in the world.

really? better than any Bruin? you realize we have quite a few guys who drop the gloves on our team. we aren't the team with only two fighters. and Chara is a heavyweight, he might not be the best one but i certainly would never call him a middleweight. carkner is a good fighter but not as good as you think he is.
