With Patches on IR, he can not return before Christmas... though odds are it will be even longer than that.

I’m confused. I can’t find it now but I read another article this morning with a comment that he would be out much longer.

Initial reports said Pacioretty might be out 4-6 weeks, but Gallant indicated Friday that the injury doesn't appear to be long-term in nature.

No need to rush him. I'd rather he be as ready as possible.

But when he does come back I wonder if it would be a good idea to run our lines like this

I don't feel like breaking up Pirri and Tuch is the best move.
