I don't have a real problem with the Islanders at #1. I don't think it will happen, but it is certainly not out of the realm of possibility. They were a good team last year and I think they are improved this year. The problem is NYR and WAS are better. But again, I would not be shocked at all to see the Isle at the top of the standings at year's end.
As for their take on the Flyers at #6. Placement isn't necessarily that far off, but the reasons behind it don't make a lot of sense. Question mark in net? Mason probably would have gotten Vezina talk last year if he were on a playoff team. A year of Gudas will help the defense? Dude might not even be in the top six...and even if he is is not going to have any significant impact.
