Despite all our problems, we're nearly 500 in overtime. Sadly though, that's talking about our save percentage more than win record. We've conceded 5 OT goals from 11 shots this year (including the one win and the shootout game) and averaged something like 40 seconds per defeat too.

This is fast becoming an issue, especially for a team that was formerly pretty good in games ending in OT. Is there a reason for this more than just shitty coaching and low confidence?

I think it’s the D as Provy and Ghost struggling will cost you, in addition to no using sanhiem earlier. Then it’s the lack of a shot, also on ghost struggles but TK struggled earlier, G is awesome, then who? Voracek? I also think game flow. Hakstol had us down a lot early. Then he let people play and we caught up and got it to OT. That mentality of just trying to get it to OT makes you more open to flopping. Especially right out of the gate which is what happens a lot.

The poor record has been exasperated by some ghastly turnovers and mistakes in overtime. That is the way it intended. Rather lose like that then in a skills competition.
Puck management has been more of an issue
