I've known Dan for over 10 years when we used to work for the same telecommunications company up in Whitehorse Yukon. He's an amazing individual with a passion to travel and who has some amazing stories to tell. I haven't heard many of the Africa ones (just what he's posted on his FB page), but having heard many from his 2 year trip through South and Central America while living in a tent in his 2 door Wrangler, I know these ones will be just as good.
