I tried to edit the poll question, to make it more succinct, but I wasn't able to do it.

2.5 is just too high. I could be wrong but I think Gretzky's 21 points in 9 games in the 1987 Canada Cup is the best anyone ever did and that's 2.3 PPG. And Mario was on his wing for part of the time.

There are only 4 elite teams. Canada USA Finland Sweden.

but my guess is 2 to 2.5 PPG.

This isn't the Jrs. Canada would probably win gold while leading the tournament in Goals Against.
