The next RSL All Star Game will be held on December 14th in St-Petersburg. The annual ASG opposes stars from east teams to the west ones.

The fans may vote via Internet to chose the starting line-up for each team: if you understand russian, to vote or to follow the choices of the fans see this W3 : http://new.phl.ru/vote/index.php?results&SID=16833-1070193544

Until now, Ovechkin leads all the forwards of the West Team. He is ahead of CSKA's players Mozyakin and Razin, respectively second and fourth RSL scoring leaders. He is also ahead of formers NHLers Kovalenko and Zelepukin.

To this point, only Soushinski, the RSL scoring leader ( East Team ), and former NHL D Men Tverdovski and Yushkevich have recorded more votes than OV. That says a lot about the popularity of the youg prospect in Russia.

Ovechkin has 9 goals and 17 points. That ranks him respectively 8th and 10th in RSL.

Pardon the ignorance...Soushinski?

Who is this guy? How old is he? Has he been drafted? Who owns his rights? What kind of a player is he? Just a brief profile or link to one would be nice...thanks guys!

Maxim Sushinski was drafted 132nd overall in 2000 by the Minnesota Wild.He is 29 years old though.I can't see him making the transition to the NHL at this stage of his career.

If you want you can check out his stats on the Russian board under the RSL top 10 scorers.
