It must have gotten deleted in the forum transfer, but there was a poll after last season asking if Ovie would EVER be a PPG player again in his career and 1 in 2 posters said NO, he would never be one again.

Now, the very next season he has reached PPG status. Congrats to him.

I think the league is better when every superstar is on top of their game. This season, I'd say the vast majority of superstars are having great seasons by their own standard.

Ovechkin leading the league in goals once again, being a PPG player and taking the Caps back to the top of the division should earn him some looks for a Hart nomination.
