So I have a 3 stall detached garage that I've built a rink in. Around the edges it's about 6 inches deep, 4 inches in the center and 8 inches in one of the corners where the concrete dips.
The ice has been freezing for 6 days. By the garage door I've built up 2.5 inches of ice, but in the back corner there is only an inch. Would fans blowing into the garage help the ice freeze. Garage doors been wide open and thermostat has garage matching outdoor temp.
Thought process being outside wind takes heat away allowing ice to freeze faster. So if I had fans blowing across the ice I'm hoping it help.
Goals 4 inches of ice through out before I skate. Ideally froze all the way through.
If this works out, low maintenance ice, music hooked up, and lighting for late night rippers. Any advice would be appreciated.
