For anyone interested, here's the current results just 1.5 weeks into the season. Anyone not listed here either hasn't allowed a goal I counted stoppable yet or hasn't played.

Anderson 2.
Binnington 4.
Markstrom 4.
Smith 4.
Fleury 3.
Hellebuyck 4.
Lundqvist 3.
Mrazek 3.
Rask 2.
Bishop 3.
Rittich 5.
Brossoit 2.
Blackwood 5.
Crawford 3.
Hart 1.
Varlamov 3.
Jones 3.
Korpisalo 3.
Hutton 1.
Merzlikins 4.
Holtby 4.
Rinne 5.
Howard 1.
Price 2.
Hutchinson 1.
Kuemper 1.
Dell 2.
Bobrovsky 1.
Khudobin 3.
Bernier 2.
Greiss 3.
Andersen 3.
Ullmark 2.
Reimer 1.
Murray 5.
Campbell 3.
Quick 4.
Kinkaid 2.
Schneider 1.
Koskinen 1.
Vasilevskiy 1.
Allen 2.
Nilsson 3.
Dubnyk 2.
Halak 1.
Miller 1.
McElhinney 2.
Saros 1.
Samsonov 1.
Raanta 1.
Francouz 1.

One name that is a clear absence is Grubauer. He played very well on my count last year too. John Gibson is another one missing on here, who was VERY good on my project last year.

Binnington sticks out as someone for me that I'm surprised with. Last year, I only counted 12 goals stoppable on him in the regular season, which was WAY better than my league average. Now, he did only play like half a season, but that was still really low. So it's surprising to see him starting out the way he has. Even though I expected him to drop off a little bit from last year.

I think the league leaders last year was a tie between Martin Jones and Mikko Koskinen at 52 each.

Goals against review for tonight

Penguins vs Jets: 2 goals against Jarry, 1 stoppable. 7 goals against Brossoit, 2 stoppable.

Flames vs Sharks: 3 goals against Talbot, 1 stoppable. 1 goal against Jones, no chance.

Golden Knights vs Kings: 2 goals against Fleury, 1 stoppable. 5 goals against Quick, 3 stoppable.

So that's 20 goals scored on goalies tonight, 8 are stoppable. That's 40% of the goals scored tonight were stoppable. Combined save percentages were .891%.

I don't feel like a softy of the night tonight. Probably something on Quick. I'm in a bad mood, will maybe do one for tonight later in the day.

Softy of the night is this Erik Johnson goal on Holtby.

This was a really ugly goal from way too far out and it started off a 3 goal against on 3 shot day for Holtby.

Softy of the night is this Adam Henrique goal on Linus Ullmark. Usually I don't count deflections like this as stoppable, but he was incredibly square to this tip, it wasn't very hard or tricky and it just dribbles through him. Brian Hayward couldn't believe it got by him either. This just didn't look right going in or very harmful at all. Not with how square he was and how leaky it was. I don't even think Ullmark could believe this went in himself, judging by his reaction and body language.

Softy of the night is the Coleman goal on Georgiev. This is probably the softy of the week. Pretty sure this is worse than the last 5-7 softy of the night's.

One underrated pleasure of the season so far are Quinn's irritated facial expressions as his team craps the bed night in night out.

I'll say one thing for Hynes, no matter how a game's going he has a very good poker face.

Not Quinn.

This is the exact kind of game the Caps would lose to the rags. They are dominating, but only up one.

Blue Jackets vs Blackhawks: 3 goals against Merzlikins, 1 stoppable. 2 goals against Lehner, 1 stoppable. The game winner on Merzlikins might have also been a goal I'd count as stoppable. but the replay wasn't good enough from the front. I couldn't tell if Merzlikins caught that puck and dropped it before the goal or if it just went off him and rebounded. So I won't nail him on that one, due to the benefit of not a definitive replay. He's awful though. Might be the worst goalie in the league. He's been unbelievably bad through his 2 games that he's played.

Red Wings vs Oilers: 2 goals against Bernier, no chance on either. 1 goal against Koskinen, no chance.

Hurricanes vs Ducks: 4 goals against Mrazek, 3 stoppable. 2 goals against Miller, 1 stoppable.
