3 on 3 isnt hockey, but fun watching. Should be 4 on 4 for 5min and no shootout. If you want that extra point you need to score in OT..

I agree with this but I'd give a short OT.

Then you have a simple "games back" system like basketball and baseball.

The shootout is stupid. You might as well have them play a game of hockey horse.

We should just skip the 60 minutes of Hockey and go straight to the shootout.

Just go to the shootout at the end of regulation

This solves all the problems

No more ties which is what the NHL wants
Shortens games which both the players and the NHL wants

Players might say they want ties but if you tell them that reinstating them will most likely cost them money I don't think they will care
