The Ottawa*Senators might not be playoff bound, but nevertheless it is an exciting time for the organization—and the youth movement is in full swing.

With several players graduating to the NHL this season—and *the big club taking on a new head coach in Dave Cameron—the door is wide open for Ottawa’s depth prospects to assert themselves. Some have responded to the challenge well, while others have faltered.

Man, this team is full of B prospects and "high ceiling bottom 6" guys (if that makes sense).

I get that a lot of our high-end youth talent (Zibanejad, Lazar, Ceci, etc...) is already playing in Ottawa and therefore not a part of the list for the most part, but we don't have a single blue-chip guy in the pipeline.

Makes appreciate the peterssons of the world. Where it was either he develops into a top 6 forward or bust.
