Why ? Apparently the price for Hart this summer was 2 first and very good prospects. We don’t give first and we get a first round prospect

Briere also wanted a 1st to take on Mathieu Joseph… imagine if Dorion did it… Flyers would have Joseph AND our high first. We’d be cursing like crazy

I have been waiting forever

Just in the FA market. 5M for Campbell. 4M for Korpisalo. And thats as a FA. Check out how many teams are in need of a goalie, many teams are screaming for one. Ottawa, NJ, Det, Buffalo, Leafs, Carolina, Flames, Edmonton, etc. And its not Gibson, Wedgewood, Fleury or Merzalinkins they want.

Anyone wanting Carter Hart is paying a premium, with the notables Edmonton and Toronto.

No idea why you’re talking about salary… Again; please show actual trades where goalies returned a premium.

Hart would have been destroyed here, like everyone else. This proposal would be more moronic than anything Dorion has done, which speaks volumes on how dumb it is

Not sure why anyone wants Hart. Dude hasn't been all that good.

And that trade proposal would be something that would be in play for a goalie like Roy or Price in their prime. And even then it would be a high price to pay.

Not to mention most of the love here for Bonk is purely for the family connection and nostalgia. Kid is a decent prospect but he is not a blue chipper by any means.
