The salary cap in the CPL is less than a million for the entire team. If the rumours are true and the main investor is coming from La Liga, it could be well worth it for them for development purposes, I doubt they'd be concerned with making money of this venture immediately. One of their players would make more than the entire Ottawa team.

where is the bond though? Other than die hard fans, how many recognize Espanyal. I often laugh and wonder how many people realize Real Madrid is Royal Madrid !!!
