Fury continued to pick up points as they drew 1-1 in Hartford last night, although they did drop a position to 7th.
I was at the match. Good lord Hartford is awful. I have no idea how they could've assembled a roster this putrid and sad. The worst thing is that the support is there. They are getting 7-8k a match at Rentchler (a college football stadium that basically cost exactly the same as a new arena that would've saved the Whalers would've cost because the state is run by morons) which would be above the 6.5k capacity of their future permanent home of Dillon Stadium. And yes, Brass Bonanza is played after goals.

Very impressive performance by the Ottawa Fury today winning 4-1 against Charlotte, should have been 5-1 or 6-1 as the Fury missed 2 penalty kicks, of course it did help that Charlotte had 2 players sent off, Fury were already up 3-1 when the 2 were sent off. After todays win Fury are now 4th in the USL east division with one or two games in hand on the teams above them, Fury's goals were scored by Samb (2), Wall and Francois.

Hi all,

I've been offered free tix to a Fury game. I need to choose from

- Memphis
- Charleston
- Swope Park
- Quarter Final

Any advice for a good game, with the chance of a Fury win?

Well at the present time Swope Park looks the best chance for a win and judging by the number of goals (46) averaging almost 4 goals a game it should be the most entertaining.
Fury coach will be up for this one as he was the coach of Swope Park 2 years go, also Olievera used to play for Swope Park. Re the quarter final that wont be until October

I have listed Ottawa's current position and the dates and current positions of the 3 teams. note the Charleston game is a wednesday night and the other 2 Saturday nights.

don't mean to throw shade, but when did fury tickets get so 'high' (vs. quality)? $25 for an adult GA ticket? that's on par with what the Impact charge for MLS soccer. when you get to near $100 to see low level soccer (relatively speaking) with the fam, I just don't see the bargain vs the 67s or RBs

Very good win for the Fury last night, 4-0 against Swope Park, moved the Fury up to 6th spot. Fury's record is 8W 8D 3L. One of the highlights was the introduction of local lad Antoine Coupland as a substitute. Antoine is 15 years old and has a very bright future in the game of soccer. Next game is wednesday against Halifax in the Canadian Championship.

By being forced to join the CPL, OSEG was going to be on the hook for another big expansion fee. This made zero financial sense for an organization that had already paid two expansion fees, and was bleeding red ink on soccer with no end in sight. Basically, the soccer higher ups gave OSEG a reason to bail out of soccer and focus on hockey and football, where they stand a good chance of breaking even and perhaps making some money in a good year...

They have been losing more money even without Soccer put into the equation. Their forecasts of available revenue's was obviously flawed. The expected 1 million more people to visit the site.
