Make there 2 nd trade for a defenceman. 1st they acquired Owen Stewart from London, Stewart is local lad from Greely and has played 36 games over the last 2years and has stats of 36 games 2g 1a 3pts 4pm, today they acquired Ryan Duhaime from Mississauga, Duhaime is another local lad from Stittsville he has stats of 104gp 1g 4a 5pts -24 43pm over 3 seasons.
Obviously the 67's have'nt acquired these 2 players for their offensive abilities, they have acuired them because they are desperate after losing Mike Vlajkov who will be out for the season after only 2 games, the 67's just finished a 3 game weekend by playing with only 5 defencemen. Also the 67's will not be getting back Sean Monahan.

Ottawa destroying Peterborough 7-1 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

    edit: Make that 8-1.

Tough to not get Monahan back, but that's their job - develop players for the next level. Besides, their window to win isn't this year, but rather next year, when Konecny is a year older and a truly dominant OHL player. (He is already an incredibly impressive kid.)

Jake Middleton has really improved since early in the season. Definetly been impressive tonight.
