Has anyone been keeping tabs on the 67s? They've been having a stellar run at home as of late and are playing some good quality hockey!

Any good prospects to watch on our team this year?

Travis Konecny. Kid will be a top 10 pick this June. Amazing player. If he was over 6-feet, he'd challenge in the top 3.

Agreed. I saw the kid last month and he's unreal. Definitely top 5 if he was bigger.

Dante Salituro is an entertaining player to watch, but obviously nowhere near Travis' level.

13-11-1 is a vast improvement on last year. It's still going to be tough to make any real noise this year, though.

There was a bit of chatter about Ottawa trying to host the Memorial Cup in 2017 (the year Ottawa wants to host everything). Is there any info on this?

My dream is for 2017 to be the year of Ottawa. Canada' 150th, Grey Cup, Heritage Classic, Memorial Cup, Stanley cup Championship, Grey Cup Championship, NASL Soccer bowl championship. :yo:

Maybe they'll move the Daytona 500 here too :sarcasm:

Is it a necessity to have a top-flight OHL team in order to land the Mem Cup? I'm sure the CHL wouldn't want just a mediocre team to have a free pass into the tournament. If that's the case, Ottawa still has some work to do.

How bout Dante Salituro? 21 goals in 27 games. Kid is damn awesome. Idk what his pro potential is at that size, but he's huge (pun not intended) for the 67's

67's fans might want to check out the Spengler Cup on TSN this holiday season. Ryan Martindale was named to the team (Team Canada, that is).
