2022 3rd Round Pick

:panthers
Mike Reilly

With Ekbald hurt and Stillman being shipped off to Chicago, Florida can use some more depth on D. Reilly has put up solid numbers for Ottawa (0G,19A) and has excellent advanced stats to boot.
It'll also help take some minutes away from the ever declining Keith Yandle which is also a bonus.

Ottawa ships away a guy that is a UFA at seasons end and gets a pick. Win-Win

Thoughts?

No use for him and he's pretty bad. Easy no from the Panthers.
In all fairness Reilly has set career highs in assists and points on Ottawa’s 2nd pairing being on a young bottom feeding North division team.

Reilly’s numbers also suggest that his play is up this season as his Corsi and Fenwick numbers are up but his possession quality is down just a bit, but that’s to be expected taking on most of the defensive responsibility’s on a bottom team playing just over 18 and a half minutes on average.

I don't know about a 3rd, but he's an interesting player for sure. I doubt that's the type of dman the Panthers are going to try and acquire though.
