As happy as I am that ASU got ranked so quickly (considering the Devils weren't even an NCAA program a few years ago), I'm also mildly annoyed that we only got ranked 18th. I feel like it should have been 15th at minimum.

I would venture to say that the calendar year 2018 hasn't been all that bad for the Coyotes. We had a strong finish to 17-18 and have gotten off to a start that is probably about on par with how we should expect the team to improve over time to start off 18-19.

Of course, it's November, so there's plenty of time left to implode.

I don't think so. This team is a lot bigger and doesn't seem to be depending on the 3 as much like they did last year. We can compete better with the bigger clubs.
