I use Firefox and can see the tweets.

My guess would be to play around with Firefox>Preferences>Privacy. Or maybe Firefox>Preferences>Security.

I don't remember changing anything to allow me to see tweets here. Maybe restore to default settings?

Yep, use Chrome.

I used chrome for a long time, just recently switched over to firefox, still working out the kinks. Chrome seemed to have its quirks as well
