the A's had a great stadium before the raiders came back. The nfl screwed up in the 90s with the expansion wave choosing Jacksonville over ST Louis and Paul Tagliabue getting in the way of Baltimore's bid caused the la situation in the first place

The Coliseum was a lot better but it's still was a circular cookie cutter in the wrong location. It did have a great view of the Oakland foothills and the ice plants were a nice feature. Mt. Davis made it totally unbearable and the irony is the Raiders didn't even need it and shut it down.
