This must be a guy PIT had high on their board. Did he really fail to crack the top 135 of central scouting????

Long game. Their scout must think he's got tremendous room for growth. This pick works, it's the type that can make a scouts career.

David Ferrance was sitting right there. They must think he's the next Erik Karlsson or something idk. I don't think there's anyway 5-9 130 is correct, probably old.

this is the type of draft you take some high risk/high reward type picks. Especially in these rounds.

I agree this is where you take a high risk guy but Farrance should of been the pick. He is a high reward guy. I probably would of taken him in the second round. There is not much info out there on this guy.

It appears not many people had scouting reports on him.

As a result measures can be wrong. This happened with olaffsson...his measures were wrong.

Still there will be a big asterisk on this pick and why they didn't pick Farrance.

Right... though a guy who wasn't listed probably could've been had a bit later.

I'm biased because I think Farrance will be a stud, but I think we could've likely gotten this kid with a later pick...

Unless he knew Pitt had him high too. Which he would know.
