The OHLNetwork simulation had the Gens winning it all this year and now so does the DashFire YouTube simulation

Montreal confirms McShane will not be signed and will re-enter the draft. Nico Gross has said he’ll play for Zug next year in NLA (top Swiss pro league) if he isn’t offered an AHL contract

The Athletic wrote an article on Tomasino and whether or not he'll be on the NSH playoff roster. Long story short, they think he will be on the roster but not play in games, which will be the case for the most of the young guys I'm sure (Robertson with TOR, McMichael with WSH, Harley with DAL)

Anyone want to take a crack at the lines for next year with best guess to which OA are chosen?

Anyone want to take a crack at the lines for next year with best guess to which OA are chosen?

F Lines:
Suni-Tomasino-Tullio
Harrison-McShane(OA)-Stepien
Winterton-Gagnier-McKinney
Way-Michaud-McSorley
Others: Drouin, Castle (unsigned), Richard (unsigned), Kocsis (unsigned)

D Pairings:
Ennis or Vallati(OA)-Brewer
Moore-Jesus
Whittaker-Pitt

G:
Kooy(OA)
Paputsakis
Others: Sbrocca, Polidori

Then I expect them to add an impact skater in the import draft and trade for a top 4 D-man or top 6 F before the season starts (whichever position they don't draft in the import)

Brett Harrison was named to the U18 camp (although the tournament is cancelled) and Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News made his roster with Harrison on it.

Roger Hunt has done it again, taking Harrison 16th overall and he’s already one of the top players in the country for his age group. The other OHL guys on the “team” were Othmann (2nd overall), Clarke (4th overall), Gaudreau (7th overall), McTavish (5th overall) and Pinelli (13th overall)

There were 8 forwards drafted ahead of Harrison who he was named on this team instead of (Lockhart 3rd, Johnston 6th, Winterton 8th, Arnsby 9th, Goure 10th, Avon 11th, Zhilkin 14th, McCallum 15th)

Everywhere
I'm finding it a little bit odd that alot of teams doing something and the Generals are not doing anything but laying off a staff member and not renewing a assist coach, no trades or player signings. Just wondering.

If the Gens made a trade it'd be for a one year guy because they'd be going all in next year. I know I certainly wouldn't be trading for a one year guy right now when the state of next season is by no means certain. All the people getting traded are younger guys because even if next season doesn't happen, they don't care because the guys in the league for multiple years (Terry '02, Kammerer '01, Supryka '01, Guskov '01, Schlueting '02)

In terms of signings they've already said that Kocsis/Richard would need to really impress at camp to make the roster next year, it's more likely that they'd be on the team the following season, so they won't be getting signed before a camp happens. So the only thing they could do is Castle

Tomasino/Suni both invited to Canada/Finland World Junior tryout Summer camps. Also gens prospects Owen Lindmark and John Farinacci invited to the USA one

7 teams are passing ahead of the Gens next Tuesday so the 37th pick turns into the 30th overall pick. Will only be making 1 selection as Suni is back next year (Gens also retain the rights to Gross since he's an OA, but he won't be back)

Gens expect Mudrak to report. He’s ranked 131st for EU skaters for the 2020 nhl draft

As a 2 years younger player in the World Juniors last year, Mudrak had 3 points in 5 games and led all of Slovakia with 15 shots. He played 18:16 minutes per game in the tournament (3rd most) and was only -2 on a team that was -14

Mudrak, interesting defense man. Never quite know what your gonna get with him. Sometimes plays more like a forward than a defense man. But he will drive the puck

Interesting, what makes you say that? Jokke Nevalainen (head European scout for DobberProspects) said he's more defensive than offensive
