Overpaid?
Think not!

How did he not cost 18 picks???? haha

I thought Kooy looked pretty good too. It was all Spits in the 1st and most of the 2nd and he stood tall and gave the Gens a chance. His glove hand seems to be his strength and loved playing the puck which sure helps the D-men on the dump-ins

Trading deadline today @ noon will GM Hunt make another deal?
I say not but who knows, I say he won't , but in years passed he does, make a trade.

My head might in the clouds but if we can get one more top4 D this team could win 2 years in a row. It’s really not that far fetched.

Barrie was the only other team people were rumouring to maybe try to host next year but you can take them off that list as they just traded Suzuki to SAG.

Great news for the Gens

ALSO it essentially ensures that oshawa will get home ice in the first round.

And makes it so the Gens have a very, very, very good chance to win round 1.

It'll likely be against one of Hamilton, Mississauga or Barrie. And none of those teams look very good. There's a clear top 4 in the East

Hamilton do not sleep on them but you should still win might be the toughest of the teams you mentioned.

My guess at the post-deadline lineup once MacLean/Suni are healthy:
F:
Neumann-Tomasino-Tullio
Harrison-McShane-Suni
Resnick-MacLean-Stepien
Winterton/Michaud-Gagnier-McKinney
Extras: McSorley

D:
Ennis-Gross
Moore-Brewer
Vallati-Jesus
Extras: Whittaker

G:
Kooy/Paputsakis

I’m happy with this lineup. Gives the gens a chance against anyone while sets them up nicely for next year

Tullio suffered a jaw injury last night from the Afanasyev elbow but he'll play tonight wearing a jaw guard

Vallati suffered back spasms after a hit last night which is why he left the game but he'll be playing tonight

Be on the lookout for a Cooper Way signing soon. 6'2/180lb 4th round pick from the last draft. Has 19 points in 36 games in the GOJHL
